BCF represented TeraXion Inc. in a major transaction

TeraXion recently completed a bank refinancing with CIBC as well as a major corporate reorganization whereby BDC Capital became a minority shareholder.

TeraXion is a leading manufacturer of innovative photonic components incorporating fiber Bragg gratings, low noise lasers and integrated photonics. Its unique expertise and ability to develop and transform technology into leading-edge products make it a partner of choice for its customers: key companies in the light and heavy industry, telecommunications, medical devices, aerospace and defence sectors. TeraXion currently has more than 180 employees in Quebec City.

As part of this major corporate restructuring and refinancing, BCF represented the interests of TeraXion Inc. with a commercial law team led by Didier Culat, and including Mélissa Picher, Frédéric Dorion, Maude Papillon, Chantal Simard and Martine Fortin.
