BCF's More Inclusive Approach: Improved Parental Leave

Montréal, February 14, 2023 – BCF is proud to announce the enhancement of its parental leave as part of its diversity and inclusion practices.

Previously, employees with a minimum of two years of continuous service were eligible for parental leave. Their basic annual income was maintained at 95% for up to 18 weeks of maternity and up to 5 weeks for paternity and adoption.

As of January 1, 2023, our enhanced policy allows all our permanent employees with at least one year of continuous service to maintain 100% of their annual base income for 25 weeks for any leave (adoption, maternity, parental, paternity).

I am proud to see BCF embrace a more inclusive and equitable dynamic. We really want to make a difference in the lives of these future parents as an employer. This initiative is just the beginning of a long list.
