BCF extends its Partnership with the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers to a Third Year
Montréal, December 1, 2023 – BCF and the Québec chapter of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL) are embarking on the third year of their partnership, which provides $9,000 in scholarships to Black students enrolled in a Québec law school.
This partnership with CABL is part of the firm’s commitment to tangible action designed to promote diversity and inclusion within Québec’s legal community. Two scholarships, each worth $1,500, are awarded to students who have stood out through academic excellence and community involvement.
“We are very proud to renew our partnership with CABL to support the careers of future Black lawyers in Québec. Diversity inspires us, enriches us, and drives us to excel a little more every day. I firmly believe that it is our duty to promote diversity through concrete action,” states Julie Doré, Managing Partner at BCF.
