Sarah Hébert-Tremblay Appointed to the IPIC’s Trademark Committee

Sarah Hébert-Tremblay, an intellectual property lawyer at BCF, was recently appointed to the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC)’s Trademark Committee.

IPIC is a national association of intellectual property professionals dedicated to protecting and promoting intellectual property in the Canadian economy.

The IPIC’s Trademark Committee mandate is to monitor and suggest amendments to the Trademarks Act and to any other trademark policy. The committee also monitors international trademark policy issues to identify areas of Canadian policies that could be reviewed in order to keep pace with the international community.
