Alex Harvey

Three-time world champion and Olympian in cross-country skiing and holder of the Meritorious Service Cross, one of the highest civilian awards in the country, Alex Harvey is now focusing on his career in the legal world.

The perspective he has gained and the perseverance he has shown during his athletic career are major assets that he puts to good use in his practice as part of the business law team in our Québec City office. He acts in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, as well as commercial contracts and real estate matters. Alex also participates in complex commercial transactions involving the importance of intellectual property property developed by the corporations he represents in order to maximize their value. Trough the diversity and scope of the matters he has been involved in, Alex is able to provide his clients with sound and tailored advice in a wide range of situations.

Alex also acts as a legal consultant for the incubator-accelerator Le Camp, working with high-growth-potential clients with high-growth potential by supporting them through the various stages of their company's start-up.

Alex is also a director of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada, serves on the boards of directors of private companies, is President of the Cercle des gouverneurs of the Bal du maire de Québec for the benefit of the Fondation Jeunes en Tête and an ambassador for the Le Diplôme avant la Médaille organizations.
