Three-time world champion and Olympian in cross-country skiing and holder of the Meritorious Service Cross, one of the highest civilian awards in the country, Alex Harvey is now focusing on his career in the legal world.
The perspective he has gained and the perseverance he has shown during his athletic career are major assets that he will be able to put to good use in his practice as part of the business law team in our Québec City office. He acts in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, as well as commercial contracts. Alex also participates in complex commercial transactions involving the importance of intellectual property developed by the corporations he represents in order to maximize their value.
Alex also acts as a legal consultant for the incubator-accelerator Le Camp with clients with high-growth potential in assisting them through every step of their company's start-up.
Alex is also President of the Cercle des gouverneurs of the Bal du maire de Québec for the benefit of the Fondation Jeunes en Tête and an ambassador for the Le Diplôme avant la Médaille organizations.

- Acted on behalf of Freelance.ca in the acquisition of Workhoppers, a platform that brings together Canada's largest community of freelancers, and connects companies and professionals for temporary, contract and part-time needs;
- Acted on behalf of La Compagnie des Montagnes de Ski du Québec inc., a member of the Franco-Swiss group E-Liberty Services S.A., in its North American ski-resort acquisition and development projects, including the Mont Lac-Vert recreational tourism centre in Hébertville;
- Represented the Franco-Swiss company e-Liberty Services S.A., which specializes in complementary solutions designed to facilitate customer experience and optimize sales of ski and other products, in its acquisition of the Mont Grand-Fonds ski resort located in the town of La Malbaie in the Charlevoix region;
- Represented the shareholders of the Québec-based Moment Zero Inc, a marketing-reporting solutions specialist, on its acquisition by saas.group;
- Represented Desjardins Capital, in its strategic alliance with Orthogone Technologies, a Canadian leader in the development of highly specialized engineering solutions;
- Represented an institutional financial partner in major investments in a manufacturing company specializing in the manufacture of construction products designed for soundproofing and exporting its products internationally;
- Represented an institutional financial partner in a subscription to the capital of a Québec-based cross-border transportation company;
- Represented a Québec institutional investor in a debt financing for a molecular medicine company;
- Represented Grues Guay, a Québec company with the largest fleet of cranes in Canada, in connection with an acquisition of industrial assets.
