Acquisition of the Mont Grand-Fonds Ski Resort by e-Liberty

Ville de la Malbaie and Corporation du Parc régional du Mont Grand-Fonds have signed agreements with e-Liberty for the continued operation of the ski resort and major investments to upgrade this magnificent site and make it a four-season destination.

Swiss company e-Liberty is part of Groupe Baelen and specializes in online ski-pass sales. For the past 17-plus years, it has been digitizing and boosting this sector, in which it has achieved European leadership.

By upgrading the ski resort’s infrastructure, these agreements will enable the site to generate more than 100,000 skier-days a year and attract visitors, year-round, who seek other seasonal outdoor activities.

BCF is proud to have acted on behalf of e-Liberty in establishing these agreements for the company’s initial foothold in North America, a market it plans to develop in the years ahead.
