Groupe Champagne Acquires the Assets of A&D Prévost

Groupe Champagne, with operations in Canada and internationally, has acquired a Quebec-based leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance architectural aluminum products. 

It is BCF that has supported Groupe Champagne in this transaction. The company stands out with a diverse portfolio of companies across sectors such as aviation, water treatment, and window manufacturing and installation. Active in Quebec and in Canada, as well as in Europe and Central America, the group oversees several thriving companies under its skilled leadership. 

Founded in 1959, A&D Prévost is a leading company in manufacturing and distributing architectural aluminum materials for institutional, commercial, and multi-residential markets in the doors and windows industry. Prévost employs around 170 team members across its two production plants in Richelieu and Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. 

This transaction was concluded in the context of an investment solicitation and sale process implemented by Restructuration Deloitte Inc. following the filing of a notice of intent by A&D Prévost, pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. 

For this transaction, Groupe Champagne has been supported with a BCF team composed of Noëmie Frappier and Gary Rivard (bankruptcy & insolvency), Jean-Christophe Imbeau and Laurence Babin, Martin Sills and Jinelle Salloum (bank financing), Kevin Vincelette (employment law), Caroline Émond and Julie Leduc (real estate), and Mehrez Houacine and Alex Thivierge-Côté (tax).
