Valérie Allard

Valérie Allard practises on the Labour and Employment Law team. She is involved with a variety of matters in this field with employers in both unionized and non-unionized workplaces. Combining practical expertise with strategic vision, Valérie advises them on matters such as the interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and various disciplinary challenges.

As part of her practice, Valérie also supports and guides companies regarding their obligations related to psychological harassment, particularly in managing reports or complaints of psychological harassment, conducting related investigations, and determining appropriate follow-up actions for such cases, in accordance with both the Act respecting labor standards and the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases.

Valérie earned her Bachelor of Laws from University Laval with an international profile. She was called to the bar in 2017. She completed her internship and practised civil law at a private firm, and later worked for a non-profit organisation in the field of administrative law and labour law.
