New Obligations Related to Domestic Violence: What Employers Need to Know
Our labour lawyers Kevin Vincelette and Nathalie Gonthier wrote an article in the Conseil du patronat du Québec’s Telework Guide about the new role of employers in dealing with risks related to domestic violence.
Pursuant to the coming into force, on October 6, 2021, of the Act to modernize the occupational health and safety system, employers must now take the necessary measures to protect an employee facing physical or psychological violence, including domestic violence, in the workplace.
