Marc-André Groulx practices in our Labour and Employment Law Group. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from the Université de Montréal (with honours) and is currently enrolled in the master's degree in public law from the same institution.

During his university studies, Marc-André became particularly interested in the legal issues surrounding psychological harassment in the workplace, and more generally, in human rights and freedoms in the context of employer-employee relationships.

At BCF, Marc-André works on various aspects of labour and employment law, more specifically labour standards, grievance arbitration, labour relations, employment and privacy litigation. He advises companies of all sizes in several areas, including financial institutions, transportation and logistics companies, SMBs in information technology.

In addition, Marc-André focuses on federal labour law, labour relations in the construction industry and special proceedings (e.g. judicial review of adjudicative bodies' decisions and constitutional review of rules of law).

He regularly represents clients before administrative and judicial tribunals, collaborates in the annual update of the Labour Law Collection of the École du Barreau, and writes informative legal articles for the general public as well as for legal and labour relations practitioners.
