Nicolas St-Sauveur practices in the Business, Commercial and Corporate Law group. A member of the Business Transfers and Environment strategic teams, he is regularly involved in business purchase or sale transactions in which he uses his knowledge of environmental law. He also specializes in drafting in shareholder or partner agreements and different types of commercial contracts (distribution, services, sales, etc.).
In addition to completing his bachelor's degree in law and being named to the Honour Roll of his faculty of law, Mr. St-Sauveur completed a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. The combination gives him an edge in cases involving scientific content, in the environmental field in particular, an expertise greatly appreciated by the professionals involved in environmental characterization studies.
Mr. St-Sauveur is also a member of BCF’s Internet Group, which offers our clients strategic advice regarding their online presence. To understand and comply with the various laws that govern this ever-changing field requires the expertise of a multidisciplinary team like that of BCF.
In the firm, Mr. St-Sauveur is actively involved in organizing recruitment activities for future BCF articling students.
Mr. St-Sauveur is involved in his community as a member of juries in university courses and contests involving the preparation of business plans for business start-ups.
Member of the team that represented the Colpron-Fiset family in connection with the sale of a majority stake of Première Moisson to Metro inc.
Participation in the Logibec inc. purchase of ReaEvolution inc., a technology solution provider to health organisations.
Participation in due diligence with acquisitions of companies operating commercial and industrial activities listed in Annex III of the Regulation on the protection and rehabilitation of land where the activities were carried out on contaminated land.
Participation in the acquisition of subsidiaries by executives (CVTech-IBC inc., CVTech-AAB inc. And CVTech R & D inc.) of a public company in the field of machining of engines and transmissions for recreational vehicles and automobiles.
Participation in the acquisition and financing of several companies and industrial cleaning services of septic tanks with a large fleet of heavy trucks and the acquisition of a landfill construction debris and demolition (Due diligence and drafting of various contracts relating to the purchase of shares or assets of companies).
Member of the team representing Bertrand Management and Brothers inc. when selling the company Colabor Entities - This transaction won the 2008-Mid-Market Award from Canadian Dealmakers.
