Alain Castonguay is a co-leader of our Real Estate strategic team and a member of the Wealth Protection strategic team as well as of the Mergers and Acquisitions team.

Mr. Castonguay has broad experience in notarial law related to business, and more specifically in the fields of financing, acquisition and sale of commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential buildings, the drafting and negotiation of contracts and agreements, and estate law. He serves a business clientele primarily comprised of large institutions, promoters and entrepreneurs.

Involvement

Very active in his professional community, Mr. Castonguay has gotten involved in various organizations since the beginning of his career. He has been a member of the board of directors of the Association de planification fiscale et financière. Mr. Castonguay has also published articles in the Revue du Barreau and was a member of the committee of the Chambre des notaires du Québec in charge of preparing a factum to be submitted to the Government of Quebec.
