The use of AI in the workplace: a lax approach that can quickly become costly
In an interview with Quebec business newspaper Les Affaires, Kevin Vincelette and Fatme Saleh, both lawyers in the Labour and Employment Group, discuss the legal risks of using artificial intelligence in the workplace.
Organizations cannot deny the existence of artificial intelligence and the use of tools such as ChatGPT within their working environments. This is a new reality for businesses, and one in which they will have to learn to navigate and evolve.
“These are issues that cannot be ignored. All businesses, large and small, from every sector, will have to take action, and they will have to do so very quickly. The longer they wait, the worse it will be.” - Fatme Saleh.
