Your H-1B Visa Application Has Not Been Selected: There Are Other Options

“The H-1B visa allows foreign workers to pursue professional employment within a “specialty” field. It is a great option for employers to not only recruit future graduates from U.S. universities, but also to attract foreign talent to fill skilled positions.

It is popular and widely used, mainly because of its simplicity compared to many other categories as well as the possibility of dual intent and the possibility of eventually applying for the famous “green card””, according to our professionals in American immigration.

Other interesting options should not be overlooked, however, such as:

• the O-1 visa for those who stand out in the business, science, arts or sports fields;
• the J-1 Trainee or Young Professional visa;
• extension of work permits for students in science-related fields;
• employment opportunities in Canada, both temporary and permanent.
