Through her rigour and intellectual depth, Julie Loranger has established herself in Quebec as an authority in successions law, estate planning, and trusts. She advises business owners and entrepreneurs on how to protect their wealth and plan for the future. Business owners and their families in Canada seek her advice on matters relating to family law's wealth aspects, regimes of protective supervision and elder law (marriage contracts, common law and marital relationships planning, protection mandates, wills, and estate settlements).

Julie has significant experience in drafting trusts. She frequently counsels beneficiaries, trustees, and legatees, as well as estate liquidators, on their rights and obligations.

From 2016 to 2018, Julie was President of the Wills, Estates and Trust Section of the Canadian Bar Association – Quebec Branch. During her presidency, this section received in 2018 the Best Section Award for the first time since its inception. She is called upon to speak at numerous conferences each year, and contributes regularly to many publications. She is a point of reference in her field, both in the business community and amongst her peers.

Julie Loranger was awarded on March 15, 2019 a prestigious medal of honour from the Chambre des notaires du Québec for her exceptional career that has positively impacted the entire profession and the title notary emeritus.
