Sunshine Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ: “SBFM”), a pharmaceutical company focused on the research, development and commercialization of oncology and antiviral drugs, recently completed the acquisition of Nora Pharma Inc., a Canadian pharmaceutical company offering generic and specialty drugs across the country and one of North America’s fastest growing generic pharmaceutical companies. As such, Nora Pharma is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunshine Biopharma.
This strategic acquisition will allow Sunshine Biopharma to expand its operations into the area of generic prescription drugs and biosimilars, will significantly expand its revenue stream and is expected to generate multi-year top-line and bottom-line growth for the company. This will give Sunshine Biopharma a strong position in the generic prescription drug industry and will bring it closer to its objective of becoming a fully integrated pharmaceutical company.
