M&A Awards Gala – BCF recognized for “Deal of the Year”

At the annual M&A Awards Gala presented on November 18^th by the M&A Club, our Business Law team won top honours in the “Transaction of the Year - Law Firms” category for its transaction relating to the sale of Hypertec’s data center operations to Vantage Data Centers, which closed last year.

This complex cross-border transaction, in which we represented Hypertec, a global end-to-end technology provider, was completed by the sale of the business unit of Hypertec’s data center and colocation services operations to Vantage Data Centers, one of the world’s leading hyperscale data centers.

The M&A Awards are intended to celebrate excellence in the mergers and acquisitions field and to create awareness for contribution of the M&A industry to the Quebec economy.

Congratulations to the entire team involved in the transaction and more specifically to Gino Martel, Sabrina Brosseau-Malo, Alex Thivierge-Côté, Marc-André Godard and Richard Epstein for their hard work.
