Hypertec Sells its Data Center Operations to Vantage Data Centers

Our client, Hypertec, a global provider of end-to-end technologies, completed the sale of its data center and colocation services operations to Vantage Data Centers, one of the world's leading hyperscale data center providers.

The acquisition enables Vantage Data Centers to continue capitalizing on Montreal’s hyperscale growth, given its access to scalable, renewable energy and attractive power costs.

Under the direction of Me Mark Girgis, Chief Legal Officer at Hypertec, BCF is proud to have contributed to this transaction carried out by a team composed of Gino Martel, Sabrina Brosseau-Malo and Alex Thivierge Côté (Mergers & Acquisitions), Richard Epstein (Competition), Marc-André Godard (Tax) and Sébastien Savage (Real Estate).
