As of May 25, 2018, the _General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will impose strict requirements on the collection and use of online information.

Québec companies, particularly those wishing to take advantage of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, face high fines in case of non-compliance with the GDPR.
