Her talent is recognized by the government

Tamila Ziani, a tax and commercial lawyer with BCF Business Law, was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Conseil de gestion de l’assurance parentale by the Council of Ministers of the Government of Quebec.

Working with the board of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ) and the Association du jeune Montréal, Ms. Ziani has been militating for several years to see an increase the proportion of young people on the boards of public agencies.

In Ms. Ziani’s words, “This appointment is an opportunity for me to demonstrate in a concrete way the added value that we, the younger generation, can bring to such organizations.”

“This is a remarkable sign of trust in Ms. Ziani on the part of the government, and we are very proud to be able to rely on her contribution to our firm. We are convinced that her energy and talents will be a great asset to her clients, and indeed, to the entire BCF team.” commented Mario Charpentier, BCF’s managing partner.

Ms. Ziani holds an LL.B. from Université de Montréal (2011) and a specialized graduate degree in tax law from HEC Montréal (2014). She also studied Chinese law at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing (2010). Specializing in tax and commercial law, she practised with a major firm in the downtown area before joining BCF this past May.
