BCF, proud partner of the 1st Montreal International Triathlon

April 20th, 2016

An exciting partnership !

BCF cares about Montreal’s economic vitality and we firmly believe in the necessity of contributing to the prestige of our metropolis. This is why we are participating, as principal partner, in the inaugural edition of a major event to be held in Montreal this summer, the Montreal International Triathlon.

Between now and 2019, the event is expected to inject $80M into the economy, which is why we felt it was our duty to “step up to the plate” for this inaugural edition.

The event, scheduled to take place next August 7 at the Old Port, and which will continue on an annual basis until at least 2019, will draw over 2,000 athletes as of the first edition. In addition to a course reserved for professionals, representing the seventh round of the World Cup circuit, the triathlon will also include a course which will be open to amateur athletes, and a team from BCF will take this opportunity to test themselves and demonstrate their energy and enthusiasm.

Collaborating on the organization of this inaugural edition of the Montreal International Triathlon is a wonderful opportunity for us to embody even more tangibly the strength of the values that drive us: creativity, daring, generosity, and dedication. These are the same values triathletes live by, whether they are professionals or amateurs, as do the leaders who decided to create this unique and rallying event.

We also salute the commitment of our colleague and partner, Geneviève Vigneault, who is Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the event.
