BCF makes a $150,000 donation to the Faculty of Law of the Université de Sherbrooke

January 29th, 2016

Our firm is very much involved in the university community.

Our firm demonstrates generosity through its exceptional support of the Faculty of Law of the Université de Sherbrooke. BCF has pledged $150,000 towards modernizing the Faculty’s law library. Renovations are set to begin immediately following the 2016 winter session.

"Law schools are considered to be the nurseries or training camps of the Quebec legal community", explains our partner Pierre T. Allard, himself a graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke. "Universities now compete not only with other cities, but also with other provinces and countries. We must therefore rely on first-rate faculty members and top-notch academic facilities."

BCF has forged very strong links with the Université de Sherbrooke, as several of our professionals are graduates of that institution. Moreover, entrepreneurship is founded upon the university’s values and traditions, and this in turn corresponds to BCF’s DNA. This financial commitment will enhance student services provided by the Faculty.
