These professionals bring energy and expertise to our firm.

BCF is pleased to announce the arrival of five new lawyers on its team: Marjorie Bergeron, John Dawson, Emmanuelle Demers, Shaun E. Finn and Valérie Marcas.

“By adding these five talented people to our various strategic teams we are enhancing our service offer,” says P. Mario Charpentier, BCF’s managing partner. “Our firm wants to attract the best candidates, and these lawyers all have outstanding resumes.”

Marjorie Bergeron specializes primarily in tax restructuring and business law. She also has a solid background in corporate law, which means that she has the expertise to manage all of her clients’ business transactions.

John Dawson is joining our business immigration team. John is originally from the United States, and his specialty is U.S. immigration, in particular the various visa applications for immigrants and non-immigrants.

Emmanuelle Demers is joining our litigation group. She handles all aspects of civil, commercial, constitutional and administrative litigation. Her practice primarily involves contract disputes, product liability, class action defence, and cross-border litigation.

Shaun E. Finn is part of our class action defence strategic team. He acts in complex commercial cases and class actions, and has authored a number of publications on the subject of class actions.

Valérie Marcas practices in the field of immigration law. She specializes in Canada’s economic immigration programs for both temporary foreign workers and permanent residency applicants.

The passion and expertise these new members bring to our firm will help us continue to find new business law solutions and meet the complex needs of our clientele.
