BCF Business Law will welcome soon two young articling students to its team of professionals. Martin Côté of the Sainte-Foy office and Gretta Ghorayeb of the Montreal office will be hired as lawyers by BCF in March, after they are sworn in. Due to their exceptional professional and interpersonal skills, Martin and Gretta will help provide our clients with the high level of service they have come to expect. “Young people such as Gretta and Martin represent our firm’s future”, Mario Charpentier, BCF’s managing partner, remarked. They will pursue a career in business, commercial and corporate law.
BCF strives to hire the best students and helps them move through the ranks at the firm. We are proud that these two passionate and committed students chose BCF after finishing their studies. In the past twelve months, eleven of the firm’s articling students have been hired as lawyers, a sign of BCF’s growth and strength. They are Geneviève Bourret-Roy, Sergey Gerasin, Bruna Guedes, Mikael Lamontagne, Marc-Étienne Lévesque, Martin Nolet, Kelly Plamondon, Guillaume Savard-Fouquette and Louis Therrien-Lapointe. “I commend these young lawyers for the outstanding work they have done so far. BCF believes in the next generation and will do everything it can to help them succeed and realize their dreams”, Mario Charpentier said.
During the last two weeks of January, BCF pulled out all the stops to attract law students. Firm lawyers took part in “speed dating” and hockey events with students, which gave them an opportunity to answer students’ questions and describe the advantages of working at BCF. Around one hundred students visited the firm in a fun-filled atmosphere to find out what BCF can do for them. BCF also sponsored the Coupe Face à Face at the University of Sherbrooke. Kelly Plamondon, who was hired as a lawyer last summer, represented the firm as a judge at that event.
