Clean Biologics SAS Acquires Biodextris Inc.

Clean Biologics, a French biopharmaceutical services company specializing in the viral and biological safety of biopharmaceutical products, recently announced the acquisition of Biodextris Inc, a Canadian provider of analytical and process development, early-phase clinical manufacturing and quality control testing services for clients in the vaccine and biologics industries.

With this acquisition, Biodextris will become a part of the Clean Biologics group, allowing the group to expand its activities by including Biodextris’ complementary services. Founded in 2015 Biodextris, joins two other entities in the Clean Biologics group, Clean Cells, a company offering a range of services for the biopharmaceutical industry, and Naobios, a provider of bioprocess development and contract manufacturing services for viral vaccines and viral vectors.

The transaction also provides Clean Biologics with an opportunity to establish a presence on the North American market with a view to increasing its activities in this region.
