E Visas: Extending the Validity of E Visas for French Citizens
E visas are non-immigrant visas issued to those wishing to start or invest in a business (E-2), or to import or export goods or services between the U.S. and a company in a U.S. treaty country (E-1).
On a visit to the U.S. on May 18 and 19, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced that negotiations between the U.S. and French administrations for an extension of the validity of E-1 and E-2 visas from 25 to 48 months were close to completion.
However, no date has yet been announced.
