Media Coverage Oct 24, 2023

Le Devoir is now a Registered Journalism Organization

This past October 1st, Québec newspaper Le Devoir, whose board of directors is chaired by our partner André Ryan, received the coveted status of registered journalism organization (RJO).

We are proud to have provided legal support to this media company through a team consisting of Marc-André Godard and Alex Thivierge Côté, thereby enabling its efforts to transform its actuarial structure and acquire its RJO status.

“First and foremost, we have taken this step to preserve what we have achieved and safeguard our core identity, that is, to achieve sustained development and innovation, while continuing to offer original content and maintain our independence,” states André Ryan, our partner and Chairman of the board of directors at Le Devoir.
