Fundraising: BCF Donates $10,000 to the Red Cross to Support Flood Victims
Montreal, May 10, 2019 – To support Quebec’s flood victims, BCF is proud to donate a cheque in the amount of $10,000 to the Red Cross’s Quebec Spring Floods Appeal (the “Fund”).
“Through the generosity of our employees and the shares of our followers, our fundraising to assist those affected by the Quebec flood was a great success. BCF has shown its commitment to the cause and its ability to make a difference for people in need.”, said Mario Charpentier, BCF’s Managing Partner.
On May 2, 2019, BCF launched a fundraising campaign on its social networks. The firm committed to donate $2 to the Fund for each sharing of its publications. In parallel, an in-house donations campaign was also held among its 500 employees to donate on a voluntary basis.
This collective solidarity raised a total amount of $10,000 which, through the Fund, will help support the affected individuals, families and communities.
About Quebec Spring Floods Appeal of the Red Cross
Donations to the Red Cross will support individuals, families and entire communities affected by the flooding. Support will be provided based on needs identified across impacted regions as we work alongside local authorities. This may include aid in the form of food, clothing, and shelter, or recovery assistance in the form of clean-up materials, household repairs and furniture replacements.
