BCF employees raise $270,000 for the centraide campaign
Montreal, November 22, 2018 - It is with great pride that BCF announces it will remit a cheque in the amount of $270,000 at the end of the 2018 Centraide campaign to help support the fight against poverty. This is a record contribution for BCF.
The team spirit and solidarity that characterizes BCF has allowed the firm to once again surpass its ambitious objective of raising $200,000 for the 2018 Centraide campaign.
Through more than twenty activities held in Montréal and Québec City during the last two weeks of November, BCF employees mobilized to raise funds for issues they care about and to promote social engagement in the community.
"Every year, I am deeply moved to see the exceptional generosity of my colleagues. I would like to thank Centraide’s organizing committee and its campaign manager, Solange Goulet, Head of Human Resources, for once again bringing out BCF's philanthropic spirit and the social values we all share!”, said Managing Partner Mario Charpentier.
About Centraide
Centraide's mission is to mobilize as many financial and volunteer resources as possible - mainly by funding and partnering with community agencies - to promote mutual aid, social commitment and empowerment as ways to improve our community's quality of life and that of its most vulnerable citizens. Once again this year, Centraide's mission is as important as ever: to fight poverty and social exclusion so that everyone can live in a fairer, more united and more equitable Québec. Centraide works with more than 1,500 community organizations that help people in need. Over one million people were helped last year alone.
