Marc-Étienne Brunet is known for his acute analytical mind and unconditional dedication. He is a member of the Business Law Group in our Montréal office, where he practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financing. Marc-Etienne acts for a wide range of clients and works on behalf of companies of various scales, frequently collaborating on private company sales and acquisitions in the Québec mid-market, where he is involved at every stage of the transaction. He also advises companies in the review and drafting of various commercial agreements and acts on behalf of investment funds and institutional investors in transactions of all sizes.
Marc-Étienne is a graduate of McGill University and holds a double degree in civil law and common law. Over the course of his studies, he had the opportunity to study law in China and France, further enriching his creativity in finding legal solutions. Prior to joining BCF, Marc-Étienne worked for a major national law firm where he focused on mergers and acquisitions.
