Charlotte Fortin practices essentially in the civil and commercial litigation group, with a particular emphasis on municipal and administrative law. She also works in labour and employment law as well as in disciplinary law.

In her practice, she is called upon to advise businesses, public organizations and individuals, as well as to act on their behalf before the judicial and administrative courts. In this capacity, she acts in matters of expropriation, environment, access to information and protection of agricultural land.

Prior to joining BCF, Charlotte acted as legal counsel in charge of litigious cases for a company operating in the securities sector. She also practiced with another local law firm for many years, published several articles and gave several lectures on topics within her interests.

During her academic career, Charlotte served on various committees, including as a member of the National Student Pro Bono Network Canada committee and as a volunteer and member of the executive committee of the Bureau d'information juridique of Université Laval. She also completed a one-year internship with a judge of the Court of Appeal of Québec.
