Barbara Ann Cain is a partner in our Litigation Group, focusing her practice on construction law, civil and commercial litigation, insurance law, civil and professional liability and product liability.
Over the years, she has been involved in several significant matters, including class actions, especially in the pharmaceutical and automobile parts manufacturing industries. She has acted on behalf of professionals, contractors, clients and manufacturers in major construction projects, as well as insurers in various litigation matters.
She acts on behalf of her clients before various legal bodies and is well known for defending them in complex technical cases requiring the input of several specialists.
Her bachelor’s degree in microbiology is a very useful asset for understanding technical cases in various fields.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Barbara Ann was an entrepreneur for several years, which gives her a good understanding of her clients’ realities and challenges.
Barbara is a mentor to the firm's younger professionals and an articling supervisor, and is also involved in the firm’s promotional activities during the Course aux stages.
