In Memory of Jean Rodrigue

July 19, 1963 – June 25, 2021

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our partner, colleague and friend Jean Rodrigue on June 25, 2021.

To many people, Jean was a loyal friend, a gifted lawyer and a kindhearted colleague. A BCF lawyer since its foundation, Jean has shaped our firm as we know it today. He has forged deep friendships and touched many of us with his generosity, his commitment and his cheerfulness. His peers held him in high regard.

Throughout his career, by combining patience and competence, Jean has assisted an impressive number of private companies in every stage of their growth, from start-up to international expansion. Thanks to his natural business acumen and his broad experience, he has built trusting relationships with Québec’s business builders.

Jean loved white roses and could not get enough of them. In his memory, give a dozen white roses to someone you love today.

His loved ones will receive your condolences at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt in Outremont, on Monday, July 19, 2021, which would have been his 58^th birthday, between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Due to current public health regulations, only 50 people at a time may attend; thank you for your patience. An intimate, by-invitation-only memorial service will be held at a later date.

Donations to Dr. David Fortin’s research laboratory in his honour would be appreciated.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of working with him.
