Senior Patent Searcher and Analyst
Zsolt Sámson joined BCF as a patent searcher and analyst in 2016. He has a PhD in Nanophotonics from the Optoelectronics Research Centre at the University of Southampton, England.
Upon graduating from his degree, Zsolt moved to Canada and joined an Ottawa-based boutique patent law firm where he gained essential legal research knowledge. Following this experience, he established his own successful patent research company to service the intellectual property needs of start ups, entrepreneurs and law firms. This company was built upon the values of providing the highest-quality research and working to understand the client’s needs.
Zsolt has substantial experience in science and patent research. With a background in physics, he is capable of analyzing a range of technologies including mechanical and electrical engineering, optics and photonics, nanotech and emerging technologies, computer science and software, IT and telecom, medical devices and more.
Zsolt looks forward to continuing this practice of excellence in patent research with BCF.
