Profile
Samuel Dias is a lawyer in our Labour and Employment Group in Montréal. He advises employers on all aspects of employment law and labour relations, both collective and individual, and assists them in the strategic management of their legal issues in line with their organizational objectives. His experience includes litigation, dispute resolution and the negotiation of collective agreements.
Samuel works on issues relating to hiring, performance management, termination of employment, labour standards and union relations. He also handles issues related to restrictive covenants, human rights and internal investigations.
With good active listening skills, he is thorough and accessible in his interventions.
Before joining BCF, he began his career in a boutique firm specializing in labour law and pension plans, where he advised employers under provincial and federal jurisdiction. He was also involved in an NPO dedicated to labour law during his university career.
He holds a law degree from the Université de Montréal and a certificate in social and labour law from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and practises in French and English.
