Pierre Houllier is a patent engineer dedicated to supporting innovative companies transform their inventions into real strategic assets. With five years of experience in intellectual property, he mainly advises clients in the sports industry as well as in the agri-food and cosmetics sectors.
Before joining BCF Global, Pierre worked as a patent engineer within an international company in the sports sector. There, he worked closely with R&D teams and operational management, acting as a true business partner. He contributed to structuring and optimizing intellectual property processes (invention harvesting and disclosure, filing decisions, prosecution management, etc.) and ensuring that the patent strategy aligned effectively with the company’s overall business strategy. He also took part in implementing internal IP policies and in various initiatives aimed at enhancing the value of patent portfolios.
Pierre assists his clients in defining and deploying intellectual property strategies tailored to their business objectives. His expertise covers the entire patent lifecycle, including patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, patent drafting and portfolio management, prosecution, due diligence in the context of acquisitions, and the implementation of tools and practices designed to better leverage and enhance intellectual property assets. Pierre is also committed to raising awareness and providing training on intellectual property matters to help secure and maximize the value of his clients’ innovations.
