Profile
Philippe Pelletier Leblanc is a lawyer in the Litigation Group of our Montréal office. He focuses on administrative and municipal law. He also has experience in tax litigation.
A former high-level hockey player, Philippe is still actively involved in the sports world. He is part of the firm's groupe of lawyers that acts on behalf of several National Hockey League teams in salary arbitration cases. He is also a decision-making member of the Comité de protection à l'intégrité du Regroupement Loisir et Sport Québec and acts as an independent arbitrator in charge of hearing disciplinary cases for several provincial sports federations.
Before joining BCF, Philippe worked for a national law firm and clerked for Federal Court Justice Richard Bell.

- Acted on behalf of a national real estate developer in a dispute with a municipality following the refusal of an application to extend a building permit for a major real estate project;
- Acted on behalf of a North American agri-food company before the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec in the context of a major transaction;
- Acted on behalf of a federal Crown corporation in a dispute with a municipality over payments in lieu of taxes;
- Acted on behalf of a real estate developer and an industrial company in expropriation cases;For professionals who have worked for other firms, it is possible to add representative past mandates, provided the client is anonymous;
- Acted on behalf of a number of financial institutions in contesting assessments issued by the tax authorities for failure to comply with notices of seizure in escrow.
