Noémie Monette is a member of our Business Law Group and practices primarily in corporate mergers and acquisitions. She joined the BCF team as a student in the winter of 2022 and has been a lawyer since December 2023.

Before completing her law degree, Noémie obtained a college degree in Paralegal Technology. Her years of experience as a paralegal and various internships have helped her hone her critical thinking and her analytical and writing skills.

A graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke, Noémie has distinguished herself by her academic excellence, receiving numerous awards for her efforts, including a scholarship for her excellent academic record in corporate law.

  • Acted on behalf of ANGUS Capital Inc. a private equity fund specializing in the acquisition of Quebec-based SMEs in traditional sectors, in its acquisition of Les Équipements Médicaux Leika Ltée, a leading family-owned company specializing in the distribution and rental of wound care and pain relief products;
  • Acted on behalf of a private equity fund in the acquisition of a Québec leader in the design and manufacture of high-efficiency recovery, heating and ventilation systems;
  • Acted on behalf Novolecs in the acquisition of the assets of Stace, a factory specializes in the design and manufacture of low and medium voltage auxiliary equipment, serving a large local and international customer base;
  • Acted on behalf of ANGUS Capital Inc. a private equity fund specializing in the acquisition of Quebec-based SMEs in traditional sectors, in its acquisition of Groupe Alpha-Vico, Quebec's only manufacturer of school furniture and one of Canada's industry leaders.
