Maxence Désy-Trépanier joined the BCF team in the summer of 2021 as a student. He is currently practicing in our Litigation Group and focuses his practice on civil and commercial matters.

Methodical, rigorous and thoughtful, Maxence is able to quickly identify the legal issues facing our clients in order to advise them effectively and offer them pragmatic solutions.

Socially and academically involved during his university studies, Maxence has received various awards and scholarships in recognition of his commitment to his community and the excellence of his academic career.

He distinguished himself during a mock trial by winning the prize for best litigator, awarded by the Honourable Pierre Cliche. Maxence then articled at the Superior Court of Quebec with the Honourable Paul Mayer. He also pursued studies in international and comparative law in Costa Rica in the summer of 2019.
