Mathieu Fournier is a partner in our labour and employment law group. He focuses his practice on the arts, sports and entertainment, retail, education, and early childhood. He advises and represents employers and employer associations in matters of collective and individual labour relations, minimum labour standards, industrial accidents and occupational diseases, occupational health and safety, human rights and freedoms, and administrative law.

He represents clients before civil and administrative tribunals and acts as an employer negotiator for employers and employer associations in collective bargaining in both the public and private sectors.

A former player in the Ligue de hockey junior majeure du Québec (LHJMQ), Mathieu is no stranger to the world of sport, where he also practises law, representing sports leagues and organizations. He also has proficiency in the early childhood sector, where he acts as legal advisor and prosecutor for a few early childhood centres and family daycare coordinating offices.

In addition, thanks to his overall strategic vision of his clients' objectives, he is always creative, dynamic, available, and hard-working. He often succeeds in offering unique, tailored, and bold strategic recommendations.
