Marie-Josée Desjardins

Marie-Josée’s practice focuses primarily on real estate law. Her experience has been called upon by government bodies, for which she has acted as legal counsel on mandates involving public utility networks, including transactions for the acquisition and disposition of immovables, the drafting of deeds of servitude, and title examinations.

Marie-Josée served as a trainer at the Chambre des notaires du Québec from 2005 to 2018 for candidates to the notary profession. She has also been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal since 2004, within the Master’s program in Notarial Law, teaching subjects related to real estate law, including dismemberments and transfers of ownership, and advanced real estate law topics.
