Joëlle is a lawyer in the Business Law group. She focuses her practice on commercial law, particularly commercial transactions and agreements related to intellectual property, as well as commercial contracts, including agreements with technological components. She works with all types of companies, including SMEs, large corporations and start-ups.
With a strong background in civil and commercial litigation, she rigorously anticipates sources of friction from the drafting stage and designs contracts designed to prevent disputes. These contracts are part of negotiations for commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions (both on the purchase and sale side), and joint ventures.
Before joining BCF Business Law, Joëlle practised civil and commercial litigation, particularly in cases involving consumer affairs, competition, trademarks and disputes between shareholders . She has appeared before various Québec courts on behalf of companies of various sizes and from various sectors.
