Erika Bouchereau is a lawyer in our Real Estate and Real Estate and Banking Finance groups in our Montreal office.

Her practice focuses primarily on commercial leasing, as well as real estate acquisitions and sales. She advises landlords and commercial tenants and institutional developers as well as various other companies.

She is also involved in setting up financing, both in the real estate field and as part of business acquisitions or equipment financing. As such, Erika contributes to the drafting loan offers, credit agreements, security documents, corporate resolutions, and legal opinions.

Known for her pragmatic approach, she quickly adapts to new challenges. Her dedication and determination make her a valuable asset to her team.

Erika joined BCF as a law student in 2024 and continued her career with our firm as a lawyer. She holds a master's degree in banking and financial markets law, as well as a bachelor's degree in private law from Jean Moulin Lyon III University, France. She is also in the process of obtaining a specialized graduate diploma (DESS) in North American law from Université de Montréal.

Before joining BCF, Erika practiced law in Haiti for more than five years, working in the banking litigation department of one of Haiti's largest commercial banks.

Committed to her community, Erika volunteers as a member of the board of directors of Garage Legal, which works with start-up entrepreneurs.
