Christine Gao is a patent agent in training within our intellectual property (IP) group.

She has a background in cognitive neuroscience and artificial intelligence and has over seven years of experience in the biotechnology and healthcare industries.

Christine worked as an application and workflow consultant at Intelerad, a leader in medical imaging software for radiology. There, she conducted workflow analysis, optimized application configurations based on best practices, and trained clinical and technical users to maximize the impact of software solutions.

She also worked at Optina Diagnostics, a Montréal-based startup specializing in early Alzheimer's disease detection through AI, where she played a key role in managing and ensuring the quality of the reference database used in the training of AI models and provided analytical support for strategic planning within the AI research team.

Christine also worked as a researcher in visual neuroscience, studying perceptual and visual functions in patients with glaucoma. She has a comprehensive understanding of the clinical research process, from protocol design to statistical data analysis and manuscript writing. She also has hands-on experience with various ophthalmic imaging devices (e.g., OCT, retinal imaging) having worked in the ocular healthcare field.

Christine is passionate about integrating innovative technologies into healthcare to drive practical solutions and advance scientific knowledge.

She is fluent in French, English, and Mandarin.
