Andréa Blackburn-Vallée is a graduate from the Université de Sherbrooke, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in law and a graduate diploma in law and life sciences. Her practice focuses primarily on litigation, environmental law, municipal law, and administrative law.

She is regularly involved in complex matters involving overlapping jurisdictional powers among different levels of government, as well as cases relating to the management of sensitive natural environments such as wetlands, water bodies, and contaminated sites. She also advises clients in situations where environmental considerations intersect with land-use planning requirements, including the interpretation and application of zoning and urban planning regulations, the assessment of acquired rights, and expropriation processes.

Before joining BCF, Andréa worked at a firm specializing in construction law and insurance law. She also had the opportunity to teach at the Association des professionnels de la construction et de l’habitation du Québec (APCHQ), for future construction entrepreneurs, covering topics such as licensing requirements and legal construction hypothecs.

Passionate about law, straightforward and a good listener, Andréa always acts in her client’s best interests. Pragmatic and thorough, she takes a clear and strategic approach to effectively support her clients often complex and sensitive matters.
