Anabel Damaso is a member of the Labour and Employment Law Group. In her practice, Anabel advises and represents clients of various sectors of activity in all aspects of labour relations, whether in unionized or non-unionized workplaces. She mainly focuses on issues relating to the interpretation and application of employment contracts and collective agreements, as well as cases involving labour standards, psychological and sexual harassment, workforce management rights, as well as issues related to the hiring and termination of employment. Anabel also has a particular interest in matters dealing with non-competition and non-solicitation clauses in employment contracts.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Anabel holds a degree in civil law as well as a bachelor’s degree in social sciences specializing in international development and globalization.
She practises law in French and English and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
