Amber M. Beckley

Amber M. Beckley is a partner and patent agent in our Intellectual Property (IP) group.

Amber specializes in a diverse range of fields, including quantum mechanics, mechanical devices, vehicles, photonics, and optics, and has developed strong proficiency in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.

She often works with start-ups and early-phase companies, guiding them through patent prosecution, design protection, portfolio-building, and IP strategy. She is also actively engaged in nurturing talent and conducting training sessions for both patent agents in training and in-house personnel on the intricacies of invention mining, patent drafting, and prosecution.

As a full patent agent in both Canada and the U.S., Amber manages patent and design prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for clients in Canada and abroad.
