SmartHalo Named One of Time’s 100 Best Inventions of 2019

One of BCF Imagine’s ambassadors, SmartHalo, is listed in Time magazine’s 2019 Top 100 Inventions.

Alongside Apple, Bose and many other renowned brands, Montreal startup SmartHalo has made its way to the top of the list with the SmartHalo 2, their all-in-one connected device for bikes, designed by cyclists for cyclists.

Its first product, the SmartHalo, was one of Quebec’s most successful innovations. The improved version, SmartHalo 2, also made history with a crowdfunding campaign raising $1,7M. Combining GPS navigator, alarm system, light, assistant and activity monitor, the SmartHalo is the first product from a Kickstarter campaign to be sold in the Apple Store.
