COVID-19: Preventive Measures

Maintaining the health and safety of our firm members and visitors is a priority for us.

BCF has a business continuity plan that is regularly re-evaluated to assure that all preparedness and response measures are implemented.

To ensure the protection of everyone, we ask that you refrain from entering our offices if:

• you are experiencing symptoms consistent with coronavirus (COVID-19), namely fever, cough and difficulty breathing;
• in the past 14 days, you have travelled or transited to any country where there is currently an active travel health notice for COVID-19 issued by the Government of Canada;
• you have been or suspect that you have been in contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 or have travelled to or transited through any of the countries listed in the Government of Canada health notices.

Hygiene Reminder

We remind you of the importance of respecting the following good hygiene practices: 

• Wash your hands regularly with warm running water and soap for at least 20 seconds;
• Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available;
• Observe good hygiene when coughing or sneezing: (1) cover your mouth and nose with your arm to reduce the spread of germs; and (2) if you use a tissue, dispose of it as soon as possible and wash your hands afterwards; 
•  Avoid direct contact for greetings, such as handshakes.
