William Deschênes

William Deschênes is a member of the civil and commercial litigation practice group in our Québec City office. Through his work, he is called upon to handle a wide range of cases, mainly pertaining to construction law and shareholder disputes.

After completing his legal internship at a renowned law firm, he joined BCF as an associate, putting his thoroughness, proactivity, and analytical skills to work for his clients.

Alongside his professional career, William has served as a research assistant to professors and doctoral students at Université Laval. His studies and research have focused on civil evidence law, insurance law, and legal issues related to artificial intelligence.

With an LLB, a Juris Doctor, and a Master’s degree in transnational law, he has a rich and complementary academic background. This multidisciplinary educational background, combined with his practical experience, makes him a versatile lawyer, who can easily adapt to the complex challenges of his field.
